Hertwig Porcelain Standing Horse custom glazed

Traditional scale Hertwig, mid century German porcelain piece, standing "horse" of a Thoroughbred type.

Stands approx 24cm tall x 25.5cm across (including base).

This is a really nice German "Herwig" Porcelain piece, that I've custom overglazed to add a little more detail.  His coat is now deepened and dappled, his markings and hooves are a lot crisper and more detailed.  Love how he stands alertly - as if he's peering over his stable door or paddock fence, having a look to see what's going on in the world.
