Beauty on a Budget! Twin horse heads plaque, art glazed lustreware

Handmade earthenware, made from a commercially produced mould which I own (original sculpt by Pat Kasper).

Approximately 20cm across, oval shaped.

I've had a bit of fun over the past couple of months with these plates!  This one was initially  underglazed in brown tones, fired in; then I used my favourite copper art glaze on the background and fired it in.   Then, I put clear crackle glaze over the horses and fired it in.  Finally,  I added some copper lustre to the rim and fired that in.  I've left the back of this bare/naked so you can hang or display it anyway you want.  These look particularly nice on rectangular tiles;-)
